Starting an at-home career can be long-lasing and allow mothers to be there for their children when they begin their school years because children do not stop needing their mothers after starting kindergarten or preschool.
Children get sick and sometimes get illnesses such as chicken pox that keeps them out of school or a while and in need of care at home. A mother with a work from home job can be there to take care of their child and not have to miss work or deal with the hassle of finding a sitter. Moms can also have their own work schedule so they can drive their children to and from school and allow them to be a part of after school activities and children’s sports activities. For moms, working from home allows them to be both a mother and a career woman.
